Seems a little much given other suspensions, especially for a guy with a clean record.

That being said, as long as they are consistent with the suspension / punishment moving forward, have no issues with it.

Once more, the league proves its Montreal Canadiens bias. How is this hit any different than Wilson's? When I saw it last night, I expected 10-15 games. Another brutal suspension by the league.

Once more, the league proves its Montreal Canadiens bias. How is this hit any different than Wilson's? When I saw it last night, I expected 10-15 games. Another brutal suspension by the league.

Haven't seen the hit, so can't comment on it, but the major difference between the two suspensions is that it's Byron's first suspension ever compared to Wilson's fourth in one year. I mean, four in one year! A message had to be sent, whereas we can wait and see if Byron becomes a repeat offender.

And actually, just watched the hit, and I don't see how it is anything like Wilson's... I would have thought one or two games, considering past suspensions by the league, but I don't mind three if it becomes the norm for a hit to the head. Otherwise, I would actually say it's the reverse, and an anti-Canadiens bias...
